I'm a senior webmaster, with a full stack development background since 2011. I'm a 31-year-old, musician, tech-lover and dad in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
With ten years of experience as a full stack developer and system architect, I am confident about my work and knowledge. I have backend and frontend experience developing web applications for banking solutions, e-commerce, school education software, and church management systems. I’m a highly motivated and dynamic worker capable of building large and scalable applications.
At Jetstereo, I am responsible for leading the development team for the e-commerce website. I oversee the building of innovative system architecture via the Yii2 Framework, NextJS, React, MySQL & SQL SERVER database, Windows Server, HTML5, CSS3, Jquery, ElasticSearch, Google Tag Manager, and multiple third-party apps. My development values include developing high standard user experience to build customer lifetime value, great team work, and delivery of projects and tasks always on time.
Experiences
At Jetstereo, I am responsible for leading the development team for the e-commerce website. I oversee the building of innovative system architecture via the PHP Yii2 Framework for the API Rest, MySQL, and React & NextJS for the frontend. Also, I'm in charge of the server infrastructure running with Apache, Apache Proxy, NodeJS, Windows Server, and Linux for the Blog named Techlab running in WordPress. Using also the AWS API SDK for integrating our Rest API to upload images and files to S3. For control versioning, I have experience using Git powered with GitHub.
JETSTEREO is an electronic retail company with 50 years of history. I am currently the web master and lead developer for JETSTEREO E-commerce platform. I'm responsible for the development, implementation, data-analyst, web services API.
In 2018 www.jetstereo.com won the E-Commerce Award for the best retail web page in Honduras.
My daily tasks as the webmaster and leader are:
- Development of Web Services & APIs using PHP Yii Framework
- Ensure that the web servers(Apache, NodeJS), hardware, and software installed on it respond and behave appropriately
- Examine and analyze traffic to the page for campaign measurement with Google Analytics
- Create and modify website appearance using React, HTML5, CSS3, NextJS
- Meet with designers to discuss designs and user interface functionality, common apps used are Photoshop and Figma
